the 2 brothers are conmen who fooled investors and partners. this is quite dramatic, and hopefully new entrepreneurs and investors learn something here.
by the way, i am not sure what the flag you pictured there has to do with the story.

It is the Montreal city flag. A fleur-de-lys for the French, a rose for the English, a shamrock for the Irish and a thistle for the Scottish. I think it is neat.
